Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Two weeks ago I went to bed with no problem at all. I awoke with severe pain in both my legs from the knee down. This week the pain in one leg is almost gone. The other leg is so bad I am having to walk with a cane 24/7. I can stand in one place for only two or three minutes.
Probably the pain in your knee, can be related to its overuse.
You can take painkillers as Naproxen or Ibuprofen for pain relief, try to have a rest, and apply cold packs for pain and inflammation relief.
If pain doesn't improve, you should consult a doctor for a physical examination, X-ray and other laboratory studies needed.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Suela Gjata,
General & Family Physician
